My journey in healthcare began 10 years ago with a strong desire to improve the lives of others. I have always felt a deep sense of compassion and empathy towards those facing challenging health situations and the complexities of modern life. This led me to pursue advanced education in healthcare management and gain valuable experience in diverse healthcare settings.  Throughout my career, I have witnessed firsthand how people struggle to navigate the complexities of the healthcare system and find comprehensive solutions that address their unique needs.  This inspired me to establish Healthcare and Life Solutions agency 5 years ago that is focused on providing personalized guidance and support.

After spending the first part of my career as a technology consultant, I obtained my MBA and shifted into product management.  My focus in that role was on financial planning, marketing, and product strategy.  That experience has been invaluable as I manage the finances and marketing for Healthcare and Life Solutions (HCLS).  Prior to working for HCLS, my experience with healthcare was primarily as a consumer, but seeing how Karla helps people get the care they need has inspired me to do the same, so I’ve obtained my license and am working towards becoming an agent in addition to my existing responsibilities. I’m excited about expanding my role with HCLS and helping others navigate the healthcare system and plan for their future.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, I excel at resolving customer concerns, answering inquires, and guiding individuals through the complexities of health insurance coverage. I am committed to customer satisfaction by delivering compassionate and efficient service.

My name is Alice Mathew, and I am an insurance broker with Health Care and Life Solutions. My focus is on providing comprehensive coverage options, including Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans, as well as ACA, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, Long Term Care, and Final Expenses.

Before transitioning into this role, I enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Registered Nurse (RN). Now retired, I have two wonderful grown children and two adorable grandchildren. My passion lies in helping people navigate the complex world of senior health care, ensuring they understand the intricacies and make informed decisions.

College. She has over 15 years of experience in customer service, assisting Medicare
beneficiaries with various Medicare Advantage Plans and supplements. With more than 35
years in the insurance industry, she currently works as an independent agent. LaShawn has a
son and five grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, playing basketball and
pickleball, and watching sports, particularly the Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks, her favorite
sports team.
